I was so insanely excited when the always beautiful Indiana from Adored Austin announced that I was the grand prize winner of her Accessorize Giveaway. I'm pretty sure I squealed from excitement when my picture was drawn from the vase. :) These are the looks I submitted to her Red, White & Blue contest. And before you ask, yes, i was absolutely freezing. If you zoom in really really close I'm pretty sure you'd be able to see all my tiny goosebumps.

I wasn't too sure about wearing my converse with this look. I didn't want to wear black shoes with this outfit and my photographer insisted I looked adorable with my converse. Being a lazy bum I just took my word for it but I'm still not sold on the idea. What do you guys think?


So right now there's a snow storm going on outside (you wouldn't think so considering what i'm wearing in these ridiculous pictures). I'm so excited to wake up tomorrow with six inches of snow on the ground. Actually I probably won't wake up since I'll be pulling an all-nighter writing this god damn paper. Save me! I want to be outside making snowmen and smashing snowballs into people's faces. :(

    The shoes say "American" as much as the rest of the outfit. I love it! Just wait until warmer weather to wear it next time.

    I think that the addition of the Converse only worked to make this outfit that much more fabulous! They contribute a splash of innocence to the overall look which is tres adorable!!
