Grandpa-esque
First of all, I just have to say HAPPY BIRTHDAY JASMINE! You're finally 21 - I'm dying of jealousy over here - and I hope you have fun celebrating this weekend. Don't go too crazy now that you can drink and gamble legally. It's been great getting to know you this past year and starting up our Dynamic Duo! You're one of the many reasons I love blogging so much and you've made it such a great experience. It's still surreal realizing that we've actually met!

This outfit made me feel like a grandpa since my cardigan has elbow pads and since I also layered it with a denim shirt. Definitely one of my more masculine looks; at least I had the shoes to add a feminine touch. Even though it has a manly vibe, I still love this outfit and I feel like it defines my personal style pretty well. Even though I love wearing dresses and skirts, I feel most like myself when I'm wearing jeans and staying laid back.
It was awkward taking these pictures though. I took these when I was back home over Thanksgiving break and I decided that since it was Black Friday no one would be at the huge playground in my town. It's seriously one of the best playgrounds I've ever been to. There's giant wooden castles, trains, ships, and planes, as well as the other essential playground basics. I would have gotten picture of them but once I showed up more and more families started to appear so I hid upon the ship to take some pictures. Unfortunately a little 2 or 3 year old boy came running past me and his mother came shortly after him. It was a little awkward since she stopped to ask me if I was cold. Yes. Yes, I was.
Happy brthday to Jasmine! and I love your shoes, Jen!

Jen I love this outfit! This is one of my favorites of late. I love seeing your more laid back looks. I adore "grandpa" styles as well, good idea about pairing it with heels, it definitely amps up the look. I usually wear flats with mine, so I guess I should invest in some heels! Adorable as always :)
ReplyDeleteGorgeous outfit Jen! It's totally not masculine and super adorable. Love the shoes =)
