In a Hopeless Place
I finally went to my home doctor on Friday and she diagnosed me with acute bronchitis and hooked me up with some strong cough medicine containing codeine. Now I've started feeling a lot better and I've finally been able to get some uninterrupted sleep! My throat is still feeling a little bit raw due to all the coughing this past week but I should be back to normal within the next week or two.
On the bright side the weather outside is gorgeous today and it's hard to believe just a few weeks ago it was freezing cold and there was snow on the ground. I'm not sure what's up with the weather but I'm not complaining right now!

Jeremy and I took advantage of the nice weather yesterday to take a walk along a tree-lined pathway that splits the Raritan River down the middle. I'm not sure how far it stretches since I have never had the time to walk the whole distance of the path. It's the perfect place to go bike riding though - now I just have to invest in a bike to ride or steal my brother's.
You look so adorable Jen, I'm glad to hear that you finally got a proper diagnosis (though not a very good one) :(!
ReplyDeleteGet plenty of rest, though it's virtually impossible with your crazy schedule. Bike stealing is always good, I do it all the time ;)!
Glad you're feeling better!! Love this cute fall outfit :)

Oh, that's really fantastic that the doctor was able to give you some meds so that you can make a recovery (: Hope that you are feeling completely healthy soon! Love the unexpectedness of a zip up the back of your boots and the autumnal colours. Have a good rest of your week!
ReplyDeletePretty outfit dear!
ReplyDeleteI hope you get better real soon, just make sure you get enough of sleep and then everything will be okay in the end :-)

so happy to hear that you are starting to feel better jen!
ReplyDeleteAwww, I am glad you're feeling better! :( Being sick sure is a way to ruin a few days. On the plus side, you look super lovely, and I love how your outfit's color palette matches nature, hehe! Those boots look dreamy <3
ReplyDeleteI really like the colors of this outfit!!
ReplyDeleteI really hope you feel better soon, Jen! I'm in a similar situation, but perhaps not as bad. Recently, my church youth group went to a retreat in PA and came back with colds and sore throats. So after I got home from church on Sunday, I had a bad feeling in the back of my throat and now last night I was up sniffling and drinking water constantly. And I have to record my audition tapes for college next week!! It feels even worse when your mom blames it that its all your fault that you're sick and that you shouldn't have been so careless. Whatever...
ReplyDeleteI'm glad you are feeling better! Lovely outfit!
ReplyDeletecant believe i didnt find out about your blog til now, love how crisp and lovely your photos are! and of course your style's amazin' ;).
