Spin Me Out of Control

Today was my last day of classes as an undergraduate (and I'm pretty sure for the rest of my life). It feels kind of bittersweet but it still hasn't kicked in yet. I'll probably wake up tomorrow at the same time I always do and start packing up my bag for class. As much as I dread going to classes, taking notes, and doing homework, I know one day I'm going to miss it terribly. The life of a student is fantastic and we don't even realize it while we're students. Our main responsibility is to learn. To learn. It can't get much better than that.

Graduation is quickly approaching in two weeks and I can't believe it's already here. My cap and gown are sitting in a corner of my room still waiting to be taken out of its package. I refuse to have it hanging in my closet, staring at me and reminding me of what's to come. I already got two finals out of the way early (thanks, professors!) and all that's left is one final next Monday and two take-home exams. After that there's just a week of parties, celebrations, and nights we'll never want to forget. I'm scared to leave but I'm so incredibly excited for the future.

  1. Woah, can you show us how you made that knot? I know it sounds like the lamest thing to ask, but there are so many ways of tying a knot on knits. I love how clean yours turned out!

  2. You are the queen of tying shirts, ha ha! I love this outfit! The color of the skirt is perfection :)
Yea....I miss school now, I had so much free time. I hated it at the time because everyone was always partying and that's not my thing but it would be nice to go back...I can't believe I graduated 2 years ago

  3. #1: You look absolutely amazing, as always.
#2: I know how you feel about graduation... I'm about to go off and it just is going to be SO different. I'm not sure when I'm going to feel that different though.

  5. Awe, Jen!~ <3 your last daaaaay! That's so sad but amazing! I'm trying to cherish my college days for that reason exactly. It seems I just started but I am done with my freshman year after tomorrow.. crazy!

Anyway, your outfit is very cute, as always! I adore the way you tied your shirt. Those pockets on your skirt are too neat, as well. :D

  7. Okay I recently donated that shirt because it has gotten way too big for me, but...now I WISH I HAD IT! I forgot how easy it was to tie and to pair with skirts. Grrrrr! You look lovely :) Now that you'll be graduating soon, YOU HAVE NO MORE EXCUSES NOT TO COME VISIT ME HERE! :) Weeeeee! Good luck with your finals and have fun in your last week as an undergrad!

  8. Going through the same here. I only graduate in June though, after I do all my final exams. I do finish classes on the 25th of this month, so I'm quite happy about that. I can't wait to be able to say I have a degree. I also can't wait to do something else with my life, have a bigger influence on my own future as these last years haven't exactly been full of adventure.

I love your outfit here, I have two skirts very similar to this one. I bought them in grey and blue because I loved the shape :)
