Despite the slight drizzle this past Sunday, Jeremy and I headed to Central Park's East Meadow for a slightly damp but delicious picnic lunch. My favorite part about the photos that he took was the fact that they capture the tiny raindrops falling around us (including the natural frizz jumping out from the rest of my hair that comes from summer humidity). I love these little magical moments of our everyday lives and being able to capture them for eternity. They're short-lived and ordinary, but there's something about them that makes them more important than the bigger milestones in our relationship.
I loooove that you can see the rain. These are gorgeous. :) Those days are the best.

ReplyDeleteThat dress looks so pretty on you Jen! I have been loving rainy grey pictures lately even more than sunny ones. Completely agree about the little things in a relationship a lot of times being more important than the big things! :)

How absolutely lovely! My favorite kind of dress is a maxi dress and yours is so pretty. The perfect frock to do some good meadow twirling :)
ReplyDeleteI love this: "I love these little magical moments of our everyday lives and being able to capture them for eternity." Even though we see the big Hollywood moments all the time in movies and TV shows, I'm with you that it's the little things that really make a relationship and that stick in your memory long after they happen :)
ReplyDeleteAnd that dress is gorgeous on you! So effortlessly chic.
