Won't Stop to Surrender

I met up with my friend Kirsten yesterday afternoon for a quick trip to the nearby reservoir. Being back in New Jersey always reminds me how much I miss being surrounded by nature. Sure, the parks in the city are absolutely lovely, but besides those you are completely surrounded by concrete and metal. Can't wait to move to the Pacific Northwest when I'm a little bit older (mainly when I outgrow the city).

It's getting so chilly on the East Coast and I'm starting to have to layer up outside of the office, and not just indoors to shield myself from the freezing cold air-conditioning. I guess it's time to start thinking about tights, sweaters, and jackets. Usually I'm more than happy for fall to come around (Bring on all the holidays!) but this year I wish summer would linger for just a few more weeks.

  1. Simple as they are, my favorite part of this is the shoes. So versatile.

  2. The print on that dress is so cute and I love the cozy look of a sweater layered over a dress! Hooray for NJ reservoirs too!
Hope you're having a wonderful day!

  8. I'm really loving your summer-to-fall transitional outfits - makes it slightly less like fall is just going to sneak up behind us and shout BOO! (Except, it kind of already did.) I love your sweater!
