Say Your Cheap Goodbyes

Another outfit featuring my vision-obstructing bangs? Sure, why not. The hardest part about having straight bangs is how often you have to get them trimmed or trim them yourself. With side bangs, you could just casually brush them to the side and no one would suspect a thing. Now you can't hide your hair woes from anyone. Alas!

I was in New Jersey last weekend so I decided to stop by my parent's house for a few hours to celebrate my brother's 25th birthday. I was going to make a joke to him about having a quarter-life crisis but then thought better not to. But, while I was home, I discovered this beautiful skirt just hiding away in my drawers. I picked up this vintage number back in college, before maxi skirts suddenly blew up overnight, so I didn't put it to good use (except for this lone blog post). Well...now it's going to get a second chance in the spotlight and a place back in my closet.

Have you guys found anything hidden deep in your closet lately that you forgot you had? If not, go digging. Some poor, forgotten dress is calling your name. Desperately. Then again...some things were meant to be forgotten...

  10. Polka dotties :) I'm not at quarter-life-crisis age yet, but I'm sure I'll have one. That's the kind of thing I would do.

  11. Cute! I was having a 1/5 life crisis at 2-0 (not sure that theres a word for that haha). I just know I'm going to freak out when I turn 25. Unfortunately, I clean out my closet all the time to try and sell stuff since I'm so poor from college so I rarely have any fun discoveries like that one!

  12. I love your straight-across bangs! As a girl whose had bangs for five years straight, I definitely agree that it requires lots of trims! But you'll get used to it! I love the hairstyle on you!
