At the end of every year, no matter how I'm spending it, I always love getting a little fancied up just for the fun of it. After all, the older you get, the fewer chances you have to get dressed up since there aren't any more formals or homecoming dances. This dress that the lovely Gentle Fawn team sweetly let me pick out was perfect for New Year's Eve since I felt grown-up sexy and not like my "college version" of sexy. Ha.

Jeremy and I met up with my best friend from high school and her boyfriend who I haven't seen for almost three years. They currently live in San Francisco so it was the perfect opportunity to meet up and finally buy all those drinks we promised each other over the years. We started the night early at List for dinner and dude, the food was absolutely incredible and super affordable when you go for their half-off happy hour. The four of us split a good number of mouth-watering dishes and I even found myself loving calamari and mussels, two foods I put on my "Do Not Eat...Ever" list.

The rest of the night was spent bar-hopping around the Belltown area, which is where I found myself wanting to live by the end of our time in Seattle. If you asked me which bars we went to, I honestly couldn't tell you. I don't remember the name of even one of them. Good night? Great night. Once we got to the count down to midnight, we quickly grabbed celebratory cigars and watched the fireworks outside through the heavily fogged night sky. Most definitely a great night with even greater people.
