Jen Loves New York
Urban Outfitters Red Cardigan (similar) | LST&FND Crop Top c/o American Eagle | Vegan Leather Skirt (similar), Nude + Black Heels c/o LuLu*s (similar)
Let's just get it all out there and talk about the fact that it seems like my right hand is stuck to my head. I know, you guys. I noticed too. But I'm sorry that I'm not sorry and my hand is gonna keep touching my head like I have the most joyful headache going on all up in there.
I've been having quite the love affair with crop tops lately but mother nature has been like "No crop tops for you. More snow instead." So now that the weather is gradually getting nicer and nicer, crop tops are winning the battle. The lovely people at American Eagle let me pick out this sick crop top just in time for the upcoming festival season so you bet your bottom dollar that you'll be seeing this all over my blog this season (but seriously, where did the term bottom dollar come from and what does it even mean?). Once I can rock denim shorts again, they'll be introduced to this top and they'll live happily ever after. I love that it plays on the classic "I love New York" tourist shirts because I honestly love every bit of this city and nothing will ever replace the spot it claimed in my heart. Oh, New York, you beautiful city you.
Love this crop top so much! I really like how you styled it with that vegan leather skirt...very very nice :)
ReplyDeleteAgh, I know just what you mean about the city -- I'm so determined to live there for at least a year or so because every time I visit (and my trips have become quite frequent as of late), I hate having to leave.

Darn weather, always foiling your stylish plans. I love the slight incongruity between your casual outfit and grownup shoes.
ReplyDeleteGAH. so excited to move there in 8 days!!
ReplyDeletealso, I'm not 100% sure but I think "bottom dollar" means your last dollar. so it's gotta be a pretty safe bet because it's your last dollar and you don't wanna lose it? haha that's what I always thought anyways.
Super cute outfit! I love the skirt! xxx

I have the same problem, since my first outfit post. I'm just hopeless when it comes to posing for pictures. :P Though you are great. No worries about your hand. :D
ReplyDeleteYour amazing pictures make up for it. Love your outfit and oh God, your post makes me miss NY so bad. I need to go back and asap!

Glitter And Blush
First off, I adore this look on you.
ReplyDeleteAnd your photos are so cute! SO HAPPY! I have to say, I often dread putting outfit posts up. 1) because I'm super awkward, 2) I hate people staring at me, and 3) my husband (who I force to photograph me) always seems to get in an argument with me out of frustration of #1 & #2 while the camera is in his hand. Three reasons I always look so miserable and not half as happy as these pics! :-P
