About two weeks ago, I traveled out to Utah for a work-related trip and I can't believe how easy it was to fall in love with this state. For the majority of our time there, we were deep in Park City, whose population consists of mainly tourists. We were surrounded by snow-covered mountains on all sides, no matter where we drove or where we looked. We, of course, had to take advantage of some of the best skiing I've ever experienced on a morning where we were able to snag some free time. But while those mountains took my breath away, nothing could prepare me for the canyons. Boy oh boy, the canyons.

We were supposed to fly back to the east coast last Monday, but due to all of the hullabaloo (ha) around Winter Storm Juno, our flight was canceled and we were stranded in Utah for an additional two days. My team and I made the best of it though, and planned a mini-road trip to drive four hours down South to Arches National Park.  This is where I decided to just drop my entire life and settle down in between the canyons. I pretty much resembled the heart eye emoji for the entirety of the drive through the park and my team members kept making fun of me for wanting to stop the car every few feet. But I mean, come on. Dude, look at it and be forever in awe.

  7. What a gorgeous photo location! ♥ I can see why you've fallen completely in love with it! I would be too - and deserts aren't even my turf! Was it the trick of the light or did you seriously just go barefoot in one of those photos? Isn't it still cold there, because you're wearing still wearing a coat? Loving your new haircut, btw, Jen! It suits you very well!

    1. Yup, I was jumping on the rocks and didn't want to wear my heeled boots, haha. Didn't pack appropriately for impromptu hiking. :)

And it's still pretty chilly up in the mountains, but warm enough to go coat-less from time to time!
