A Very Merry + Vintage Christmas

I've done it. It's Christmas and all the perfectly-curated gifts are wrapped and sitting under a DIY tree I scrambled to put together last night for Jeremy's mom's house. Now I'm just sitting around impatiently waiting for everyone else to arrive to see everyone's reactions to their gifts, which is debatably one of the best parts of the holiday season.
But now it's time for the last person on my holiday gift list...myself, because TREAT YOURSELF. Luckily, the bad ass Style by Portobello team helped me out in this category with my very first vintage style subscription box. They actually curated my box for me based off my Instagram #ootd posts and they couldn't have been more spot on and in time for Christmas. This purse is already rocking my world and that braided detail? Pretty clutch (don't judge me for using the word clutch). But to be even clutch-er (that's definitely not a word), all of their vintage picks come from the world famous Portobello Road market in London, which was made famous by Notting Hill (swoooooon, Hugh Grant).
If you nerd out over vintage pieces but, like me, have no luck (or patience) in thrift stores, give it a try (or gift it to someone you know just like that). Plus, anything curated just for you makes you feel much richer than you actual are...unless you are actually pretty rich, you moneybags you.
Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays to those of you celebrating!
Duuude you look so different in these and I LOVE IT.

ReplyDeleteMerry Xmas, Jen! I don't think I've seen you with milkmaid braids before but your style and spunk gives it a real nice edge ;) I'm in absolute love with your jumper! Also, how do you always manage to rock thigh high socks? I can't keep mine in place EVER.
ReplyDeleteP.S: this Portobello box thing sounds like a great idea!
Alive as Always
This is very interesting combination. Love the bag with the sweater!

I hope you had a lovely Christmas! You look lovely like always :) xx
ReplyDeleteHOLY SHIT CAN I HAVE THIS ENTIRE OUTFIT? AND HAIRSTYLE? And that last picture--hot damn, girl. I want your number as well.
ReplyDeleteThis outfit is so great and yes, watching people open your gifts is the best! Never heard of a vintage subscription box is pretty cool. I bet you'd have tons of luck at a thrift store in Ohio. But that's because they're real easy.
ReplyDeleteHi! I love your lip color in this, what lipstick are you using?
ReplyDeleteHi Charissa!
DeleteIt's actually a thin layer of L'Oreal Infallible Lipstick in Resilient Raisin. One of my all-time favorites. :)
