These Boots Were Made for Walking

So in the midst of Halloweekend I didn't have time to sit down and properly update my blog, but here I am, sitting in front of my computer on a lovely Saturday morning. I'm finally getting a new phone today. I've been surviving off my phone from a few years ago that has buttons falling off and decaying. Now I'll be back to having my face glued to my phone. Hooray? My dependency on technology is a little bit depressing.

This weekend has been pretty amazing so far starting Thursday night and it's not even close to being over. I'll definitely post pictures from this weekend on Monday including some of my costumes. I love being able to take a break from school and just go crazy with my favorite people in the world. :)

(shirt urban outfitters, t-shirt zara, jeans gap, boots dsw, necklace, ring forever 21)

This is one of my casual outfits. You guys didn't think I wore skirts, dresses, heels, and wedges to all my classes, did you? It's finally boot season (at least for me) and I love wearing these boots. I used to be anti-boot for the longest time and I told myself I'd never wear a pair. After starting this blog I decided that boots weren't that bad, but I was still extremely picky when it came to finding a pair of boots that fit my specific qualifications. They needed to have a rounded toe, needed to be flat soled, had to be suede, and had to be slouchy. It was a year-long hunt with my mom but we finally came across this pair and they were perfect.

P.S. Happy Birthday, Robin!

  4. Some college days really just require casual outfits like this. It takes so much time to get all dolled up every day!

I like that ring. What size did you get it in?

  6. I too have very strict requirements for a pair of boots (though I love them and wish it wasn't quite so hard to find a good pair). I like your casual look!

  17. I'm definitely loving the color of the shirt, it matches your green surroundings! lol I can't believe that I find another picky boots person because I'm one too! Except that mine has to be leather or similar with an inch or two of heels to push me up a little lol

Ps. How did you find an empty street to have a photo shoot like that? It's awesome!

    Have a festive day! (:

  19. Wow, I've never heard of a person being anti-boot. They look so good on you and are so practical. This casual outfit is just as lovely as your skirt and wedge outfits. Jeans and boyfriend shirts are just so classic!
