Baby, It's [Really Really] Cold Outside

Merry Christmas to all my readers that celebrate it! Personally, my family and I don't really do anything out of the ordinary besides putting up our tree. As I grew older the tradition of exchanging gifts faded away but all that matters is getting to spend time with the ones you love. My brother is coming home today, Christmas morning, which is pretty exciting. He always has so much work to get done at college so he stays until the very last minute.

This outfit actually makes me smile a lot. Being home for the winter vacation, I decided to take a good long look at the closet of clothes I left behind to rot. I realized I bought this floral shirt online almost exactly a year ago and I only got one good wear out of it. It's a gorgeous color but it just never really grew on me. And then there's this sweater; I've had it since my sophomore year of high school and I haven't worn it for almost 4 years. I decided to show both of these pieces a little bit of well-deserved love and apologies to both for neglecting them for so long. And as for my post title, it was pretty damn cold when I took these pictures. I couldn't quite feel my fingers by the end of the shoot.
