Walking in a Winter Wonderland
Can you say Blizzard? I took these when it was still light out on Sunday and it had only been snowing for a couple of hours. I enslaved my reluctant brother to step away from his computer and snap some shots of me right outside our house. I love how the shots turned out and he takes direction really well. It's been twelve hours since the start of the snowfall and if I were to take pictures now, the snow would come up to my calves.
It's absolutely beautiful outside right now (especially without the noise of snow blowers and children running around). I helped my dad shovel for a little while and then ran outside with my camera dangerously wrapped up in a scarf.

So just as the owl hat in my previous posts was probably the best purchase I've recently made, this scarf was the best present I've recently received. It's the only scarf I have that's big enough to comfortably wrap around twice. My one friend laughed at it but he was obviously just jealous and bitter because his neck was freezing cold. Plus, he's also just a huge hater. I'm pretty sure my face will be buried in this scarf until spring.
Oh, and HOW AWESOME ARE EARMUFFS? :)
I. LOVE. YOUR. CARDI. AND. ELBOW. PATCHES. AND. YOU.
ReplyDeleteYou look so adorable in the snow, bundle up don't catch a cold though, it looks MIGHTY COLD :( Hope you had a lovely Christmas and hope your New years is just as fantastic Jen! <3

ReplyDeleteSo insanely jealous that you're having a white Christmas. It's like out of a movie! You look so adorable! I love that cardigan on you and I love how the collar of your dress is peeping out to give it a preppy feeling :) That scarf is pretty amazing (those pom poms at the end are friggin cute!)! I am obsessed with long scarves this season too. A lot of scarves just aren't long enough even though I'm so short hehe! These photos turned out so well. I think I just might have to enslave my brother too since Robert isn't here anymore hehe >:)
ReplyDeleteWow. This is magical. The snow is fairytale like. You look as beautiful as always. The earmuffs are darling. I love the touch of the shoulder pads. I'm still in awe over these photographs, some of the best yet.

ReplyDeleteI love the cardi! The colour is just perfect! That snow looks like so much fun :) I cant believe its up to your calfs now! :| I want some more snow :)
ReplyDeleteGreat outfit! I also have photos of me when it's snowing, but it's not a blizzard like yours! I still have to make an official post about that outfit. It just seems funny to post while I'm in Hawaii. :D But I'll be heading back to Seattle soon--hopefully I get some snow, but not a blizzard! Unless, of course, I am prepared to still look cute like you do! :D well, I do have my white earmuffs waiting for me! Great post!
