If It's Going to be Cold, Why Not Snow?
So going along with my Christmas day post, I've decided to search my closet of forgotten clothes once again to see what else I could bring back to life. I came across these camel, corduroy, flared jeans from Abercrombie & Fitch. I had bought them in my early high school years when I tried too hard to fit in. They never really got much wear at all because soon the skinny jean craze kicked in (and hasn't left yet). I never thought I'd wear flared jeans anytime soon but here I am, rocking these flares. I'm actually becoming a fan of them. If only they still fit as well as they used to. Unfortunately I'm a little curvier than I used to be and these pants are a little too snug at the hips (thanks, college).

So as much as I love all the snow outside, the blizzard has kept me trapped inside my house for the past two days. Hopefully the roads will be safe enough to drive on by noon since I have a ton of errands to run and I'm grabbing dinner with some old friends. Wish me luck!
Oh, and Congratulations to Ada for winning the $100 Shopbop Giveaway! Keep an eye out for more giveaway opportunities coming in 2011. :)

LOL okay the fact that you can still fit into jeans from so long ago.. is awesome. I'm a senior in high school and I can't fit into things from my sophomore year at all. xDDD It's ridiculous! But they are so cute on you! One of the two pairs of jeans I have is flared. :D You are adorable and stay warm in that silly blizzard of yours. :D

ReplyDeleteI'm so jealous of all the snow everyone is getting to experience.. of course living in a tropical climate we never get snow... and the snow on our volcanos don't count. hee hee. I love the change in silhouette of your pants!! Flares are gonna make a come back. :) And I love that they are corduroy.
ReplyDeleteHope you enjoyed your Christmas Jen! Much love.
xx Love & Aloha
Oh goodness, I've been trying to deal with the blizzard here as well! You look so lovely, those flair corduroys are just perfect on you! Christmas has got me feeling a bit materialistic, so I'm trying to wear clothes in my closet that I didn't just receive for Christmas. Tis hard, though.
ReplyDeleteoh my goodness! i haven't worn flared jeans since the skinny jeans trend started! you make them look so good. i love how you paired with the madewell sandals. but minus the sandals, this is how i looked in middle school hehe.
ReplyDeletei haven't seen flared pants in a while :) how refreshing!
