SLIDER

JennifHsieh is a space for my rambling thoughts and snaps of my everyday style. I'm based in Astoria, Queens and I share a home with my two derpy cats and my equally derpy fiancé.

Barely Breathing

For these self-portraits I went to the nearby baseball fields in my town. I thought I outsmarted everyone by coming around 1 pm since school was still in session and no one would be around to witness my awkward posing. However, I was joined by two middle aged men tending to the baseball fields and riding around on their tractors. I felt extremely awkward and ran away as nonchalantly as possible. Oh, this camera? This tripod? They're not for taking pictures of myself - I just really like snapping shots of batting cages.

I'm currently taking a break from responding to emails and putting together resources to watch Because I Said So on TV. I love anything related to Mandy Moore and I also haven't watched the movie in a while so the ending is still somewhat of a surprise. Plus, Gabriel Macht is kind of gorgeous so I don't mind watching him for two hours. :)

Don't forget to enter the Shabby Apple Bow Skirt Giveaway by Friday! :)

  1. These are really well done self portraits. I think your outfit is adorable. Those heels caught my eyes right away.

What aperture setting did you use to achieve such a shallow depth of field?

  3. You look so grown-up, Jen! This is a very feminine outfit. I like how you're wearing more girly clothes. Great contrast to the baseball field, too.
