Lady Liberty in Leopard

It's been hectic this past week with constant study sessions, making time for work, and finalizing a million details for the NJ Circle K District Convention in March. It's hard to juggle it all and I keep picking up one task and ending on another, entirely different task. I need someone to help me keep my head on straight! Despite all of this craziness, my boyfriend and I took a day trip to the Liberty Science Center. It's one of my all time favorite places and I have so many memories there with my family.

One of my favorites aspects of the Liberty Science Center is that you can see the NYC Skyline from the building as well as the Statue of Liberty! It's blurred out in my pictures but you can slightly make it out above my shoulder in the picture above. My second favorite part is the fact that they sell Astronaut Ice Cream in their gift store. Noms. And for those of you that have been to the Liberty Science Center, I defeated the Touch Tunnel once again. Win.

c/o Blowfish Shoes Norma Flats

Lately I've been trying to incorporate more and more leopard print into my life (or prints in general) like I mentioned in this previous post, so I snatched up these leopard flats from Blowfish Shoes when I had the chance! They're the coziest flats in the world and I can't help but wear them around everywhere I go. Plus, it gives even the most boring outfits a little extra something (which comes in handy during finals season when all I wear are giant sweaters and jeans). Well, It's back to studying for me. Wish me luck! :)

Oh and Congratulations to Jasmine for winning the $30 Ande Monster Vintage Gift Card! Look out for an email later tonight! :)

  1. What a cute outfit created of classics! You're right, the shoes do add that little something - I love accessories that do that for you! I would love to visit a place like that some day :) Sound like fun!

  2. Oh wow, I saw the Statue of Liberty once, when I was 17 (many, many moons ago, lol). What a great, chic outfit. I just recently did a post where I wore my daughter's leopard scarf - I haven't tended toward leopard either, but my outfit really needed something. Those shoes are cute!
