They Are So Wasted On Myself
Being home always puts me in a really lazy mood where all I want to do is snuggle up in bed with my laptop and my sweats on. Lately I've been obsessed with Breaking Bad and I can't seem to stop watching consecutive episodes even though it's a really stressful show to watch. There's always something to worry about and I'm pretty sure I get way too emotionally invested into all the shows I follow. I also need to catch up on Parks and Recreation, HIMYM, and Mad Men.
I spent this afternoon braving the stores and the ridiculously crowded mall with my friend from home, Diane. We managed to get all our errands done in only a few hours and we scored some incredible deals. I haven't had a good shopping session in a really long time so it was nice to just treat myself to things that I both want and need. The main goal of the day? I got myself a nice New Years Eve outfit for when I'm celebrating in Istanbul with Jeremy and the top and skirt combined came out to a whopping $15. What a big spender. ;)

I recently posted another article on Uloop (I'm on a roll you guys) about DIY Decorations for New Years Eve! I'm really starting to enjoy writing these articles, mainly because I've always wanted to cover very general lifestyle topics on my blog but I've never had the patience to write them out. Writing for Uloop really gives me the motivation to put energy into releasing these articles. And hey, I still get to share them with you guys! Let me know if you guys have any suggestions for future articles!
super beautiful outfit, and an amazing parsonage for a setting! :)
ReplyDeleteI hear you on breaking bad - wayyyyy too stressful. I wanted to get through that and 30 rock during my break, but I can't make myself watch more than an episode at a time...especially now that I'm nearing the end of season 3 and it's HEATING UP!
ReplyDeleteglad you're having a nice time at home. :]

Those flats add just the right pop to any outfit, and I really like that you chose to pair them up with your brocade skinnies. I hope you have a wonderful and safe NY's day :) I can't wait to see the skirt that you picked up!

Awe, Jen, I'm glad that you're so much enjoying your writing! It's nice finding a new thing that you love doing... like as lame as this sounds, I discovered recently that I really like to read occassionally even though I never really did before (school books make me not want to, I suppose!). So yeah. Keep up the writing!
