Quoth the Raven, "Nevermore"
I spent this past weekend at my friend Rachel's house in beautiful New Jersey and we decided to take a trip up north to New York to hike in Bear Mountain. Being very practical, I brought along these wedges to go hiking in because they have treads. All shoes are good for hiking as long as they have treads, right? Right? It turns out, there was so much fog that the roads were blocked off and hiking would have been a bad idea regardless of what ridiculous shoes I was wearing.
Despite not being able to get to the top of Bear Mountain, the views at just about any point of the trail were stunning. The heavy fog gave the mountain an eerie feel and I couldn't stop snapping clouded pictures. I can't wait to come back when we can get some clearer views though.

Also, this bag from Chicnova is my new favorite bag. I have a huge weakness for all thing suede and when it comes to bags I can get pretty picky. I prefer bags that are simple, large, with minimal embellishments (such as brand names, buckles, etc). So when Chicnova offered to let me review a product, I knew I had to get my hands on this one. It's big enough for an overnight trip (which is why I brought it with me this past weekend) and I was able to shove in these wedges, and entire outfit, and all my overnight necessities. Jackpot? I think so. This baby isn't leaving my side for a long, long time.
