The Heart is a Lonely Hunter
Every time I spend a weekend in New Jersey, I start to question why I'm still living the the city. The green grass, amazing views, driving for hours on end, and being surrounded by old friends and family - I miss all of it but I love that it's only a quick train ride away. Even though there's something to be said for public transit, I can't help but love having a car and knowing I can get anywhere I want to on my own terms. Ultimately, I want to find myself living in a town right outside of the city, where it's close enough to that hectic lifestyle but far enough to have some peace of mind.

ReplyDeleteI love this classic yet simple combo. You look so comfortable and yet stylish. Looking at these photos makes me feel very cozy, so I can't imagine how you wouldn't be, haha. Also this is the third blog post I read from a New Yorker talking about how nice it is to get away from New York to these places that sound exactly like where I live. Makes me curious about living in the city.
