I wasn't lying in my last post - my blogging is seriously coming to a stand still. Work has been overwhelming lately and when I'm not working I'm too busy frolicking outdoors. I guess something has to give from time to time, and this time it's blogging. And full disclaimer here, these pictures were taken over a week ago. Blogging at it's finest. [Insert thumbs up here]
Yesterday was Jeremy's birthday so I traveled to his friend's house in North Jersey for some drunken, celebratory fun. I actually ended up taking the wrong bus from New York City and ended up in a town ten minutes away. Luckily (or maybe not so luckily), the bus driver felt sorry for me and offered me a ride in his own car since his shift was ending. I spent a good part of my day earlier reading about bizarre and creepy events, so I thought I was doomed. He ended up being the friendliest guy and he chuckled to himself saying "Boy, I've never done this before!" Usually that would be a flashing red light to open the car door and roll out, but I accepted the ride and trusted in the good of mankind. And obviously, it all worked out, and I spent a good 10 minutes with a incredibly nice guy with a great heart. Next time though, I'll probably keep 911 at the ready. Just in case.
Sounds like you had a fun adventure! Love your maxi skirt and sandals :)

Love this casual outfit. You seem so adventurous! I'd never do that, haha. but some people really are nice. however, my friend did have to actually do the jump from the car at a stop light thing when she accepted a ride from a man in LA. I have a feeling she ignored a few red flags though!
ReplyDeleteMy boyfriend would have a heart attack if I ever did that. It can be a scary place out there but I'm glad you were safe :)
ReplyDeleteAlways an exciting trip! So glad you got out of there in one piece :]
ReplyDeleteYou don't want to know how many outfits I have backlogged and saved in my draft files just in case I hit a busy week...aha...
ReplyDeleteAnyway, even if its old, its still a super cute outfit! Love the maxi skirt :)

ReplyDeleteI love that purse! Cognac and black and tan? I bet it matches everything! *___*
So much worse things than older pictures on a blog. I've never been sure where this assumption that photos need to be from the day of or the evening before.
ReplyDeleteLook like you had a fun time- and a story to tell about it too!
Hope things become less hectic for you and that you enjoy all that outdoors all you can :D
You always have the best stories- I definitely chuckled to myself while reading this :) I'm glad everything turned out ok with your good samaritan bus driver! And I think you should cut yourself some blogging slack- I think you do an amazing job of creating new content, and sometimes life needs to come first!
ReplyDeleteHugs,
Sarah :)
Oooh! That's so brave of you! And God bless him for not doing any harm whatsoever. :)
