GLAMSQUAD Presents Vintage Waves
If you're following me on Instagram, you know that earlier last week I had the awesome opportunity to try out the amazing services of GLAMSQUAD. The idea behind GLAMSQUAD is pretty straightforward. Living in New York City, we're used to being able to have everything delivered right to our doors (in fact, I'm contemplating having dinner delivered tonight, although my bank statement is telling me to get in my kitchen and cook). So, the GLAMSQUAD team is doing the exact same thing but with hair stylists. Pretty cool, right?
I don't really do much when it comes to my hair so I was more than happy to have the opportunity to get dolled up. They offer blowouts, braids, and updos - I went for vintage waves since I can never figure out how to create them on my own. My stylist was super friendly, on-time, and she did an awesome job. Next time, I'm definitely treating myself to some amazing braids since my arms always get tired when I attempt braids of any sort. Even though I was only going on a simple date with Jeremy, it was still nice to get dressed up and feel extra fancy for the evening.

Oh, and my boyfriend was enslaved into watching me get my hair done and snapping photos of the process. Don't worry though - I treated him to some of the most incredible pizza in Greenwich Village afterward. Seriously, the most incredible.

So pretty and such a fun concept!! I wonder if they offer any options for us pixie-haired ladies- I never do anything of interest with my hair, but I'm always impressed when I see ladies rocking a pompadour or finger waves. When I'm in town for fashion week this spring, I might just have to give them a call :)
