Minty Florals On My Back

Touch the Sky Maxi Dress c/o For Elyse, Forever 21 Denim Jacket (similar)Reversible Tan Tote c/o LuLu*s, Report Sandals c/o LuLu*s

Can I just say how much I love the dress code where I work? Pretty much anything reasonable goes as long as you look presentable in the general public and what needs to be covered up is covered up. This is where this dress comes in - it's long enough to keep me warm in the office, but the slit on the left side keeps me cool once I step outside and down into the sweat-inducing subway platform. It did shrink just about an inch after I washed it the first time, but that actually worked out in my 5'3" favor. Accidental jackpot.

I currently hear fireworks going off outside my apartment. Apparently the people over at Astoria park (in Queens) decided to celebrate Independence Day a few days early, just over the east river. Normally, I'd be able to sneak a peek, but my balcony is currently under construction and I don't have access to them. Nooooooooooooooo!

  6. Oh man, must be super annoying knowing that you're missing out of those pretty sparkles in the sky. I absolutely love watching fireworks! We have a fireworks spectacle at the end of the summer and I'm already looking forward to it, haha. Also: this dress is super sweet ♥ I love the lace back panel, and I am in love with your tan tote too. I'm looking for one to tote around myself this summer! ^_^ xo
