Hello Readers of JennifHsieh!
If you're longtime readers of Jen's, you might remember me from a little series we did together - Dynamic Duo (note from Jen: click through if you're ready for embarassing levels of our past fashion choices) - during which we styled an item in our own and unique way. If you're new to JennifHsieh, I think it's best that you're "meeting" me now because as adorable as we were back then, I'm not sure we would make the same choices of items and/or of styling today. We've looked back and have laughed over those choices, but I'm glad to say that we're a little bit older and a little bit wiser now. I'm also grateful that over the years, we've been able to keep in touch and remain good friends. So when Jen asked me to do a guest post for her, I didn't hesitate to say yes, especially since she's gallivanting on my side of the country and will soon be gallivanting with me in sunny LA!
When I travel, comfort is my number one concern. I tend to overpack all of my favorite basics--printed pajama pants, soft t-shirts, leggings, cozy sweaters, and slip on shoes. When I was a kid, I would always have to take my stuffed bunny, Veggie, with me. Well now as an adult, favorite basics are my version of that--they're my creature comforts that I have to have when I'm in new places. This moto jacket, hat, and Good Vibes t-shirt (basically the LA uniform) are my current favorites and I'll be surely taking these with me to future trips.
I'm sure you'll be seeing my face again when Jen posts about our adventures in LA, but if you want to see my face again before then, I'm now blogging over at Be the Plebeian.
Adventure is out there!
