California Road Trip | Day 2/10: The Interval
Despite a long night out on the town, we managed to wake up in decent shape in order to make our way to the Golden Gate Bridge. Jeremy and I jumped into an Uber Pool and ended up sharing our ride with a local on his way to church for Easter. On realizing we were just visiting the area, he decided to dump all of his local wisdom on us of things to do and what to see. We ended up exiting the cab a little overwhelmed; but the one piece of advice that we actually took, was to spend our morning at The Interval.
Our weak bodies gave up the idea to bike across the Golden Gate Bridge before our brunch plans and, instead, we settled into a nook of The Interval and treated ourselves to some of the best tea we've ever had. But not only was the tea incredible, the space itself was just full of badass mechanical, functioning pieces of art. It was hard to peel our butts off the cozy leather seats, but we eventually had to leave to continue on our SF shenanigans.
The next time we come here, we're bringing a good book and an ample amount of time to just read and drink tea like classy motherfuckers.
Pretty photos!

Beautiful photos! The Interval looks so cool! I can't wait to read all about your road trip! :) xx
ReplyDeleteThe spiral staircase in The Interval is an amazing piece to have indoors. That sort of design always makes a place more interesting to look at. There seems to be a bit of a hipster vibe from the pictures, too, hehe.

ReplyDeleteI'm totally digging that space!!!! in my last 2 trips out of the city, I've been trying out actually researching cafes and spending time in them. i think my travel habits have changed through time (i used to do all the touristy stuff from first to last day, but now i've been trying to really pick out certain spaces/spots that i want to spend a lot in to just chill/hang out).
