SLIDER

JennifHsieh is a space for my rambling thoughts and snaps of my everyday style. I'm based in Astoria, Queens and I share a home with my two derpy cats and my equally derpy fiancé.

Chokers Be Chokin'

Abercrombie & Fitch Sweater via swap (similar), Daydreamer Dress in Blue c/o For Elyse (similar), H&M Over-the-knee SocksMOVV Black Velvet Choker, Steve Madden Combat Boots (similar), Madewell iPhone Case, Urban Outfitters Black Mini-Backpack (similar)

I'm slowly settling back into the New York City pace of life, post-vacation, which has been a rough transition considering the jet lag and needing to run on less sleep (compared to the gratuitous amount of sleep we treated ourselves to on vacation). Not to mention adjusting back to those grueling subway commutes every morning and evening. I'm starting to kick myself in the butt for not giving myself more breathing room after our trip; the amount of appointments and events I've scheduled this week are dragging me down ever so slowly. Oh, and can we talk about coming home to weather that's even colder than when we first left the city? I thought it was only supposed to get warmer in April?

So in response to all of that, I'll be bumming around in a simple uniform of sweaters and jeans this week and only posting sad throwbacks to California on my Instagram. Oh, and posting old outfit photos of course. Here's to warmer days when I was able to bare my thighs and wear impractical sweaters with holes in them. And when I also complained less.

But in the meantime, get ready for some dope California Road Trip blog posts coming your way. SO DOPE.

  3. Is there anything you can't make look chic? Your outfits make me miss dressing like a real person so much. Combat boots are a staple.

Looking forward to seeing your California road trip posts! It's always interesting to see California from a different point of view than my own.

  11. OH MY GOSH JEENNNNN I wanna steal this outfit from you! You're like a punk rock Cinderella. For real. Did you notice that Cinderella wears a black choker like that once she gets all bippity-boppity-boo'd by her sweet G-ma? She does.
