DIY Closet Costumes | Using a Motorcycle Jacket

1. Sandy from "Grease"

I have to be honest here, I've never seen Grease. I don't know how I avoided it since it's all my 3rd grade best friend could rave about. BUT THIS OUTFIT IS FIRE and it's the easiest thing to whip together if your closet has as much black as mine does. But I swear, it's on my bucket list to watch it before the end of the year, because I have mad respect for John Travolta and he deserves it.

2. Batgirl

If you own black and yellow in your closet, you're pretty much all set. Just grab some yellow construction paper, cut out a bat, and grab a mask. The last step, is roaming the city saving innocent civilians from bad guys. Oh, and grabbing brunch with Batman and Robin.

2. Jessica Jones from "Jessica Jones"

I recently got around to watching Jessica Jones (I'm only a few episodes in, no spoilers) so I couldn't help but think of this costume for a quick DIY. All you need to add is some whiskey in a paper bag, but I already covered that last year. I always just want to dress up as drunken characters, apparently.

  6. Your Jessica Jones costume goes great with my Bo from Lost Girl costume. It's exactly what I'd wear, except the jacket goes straight on top of the t-shirt without any long sleeves. Ponytail and boom, done.
