There are some brands you love. And then there are some brands that just feel like family. I first fell in love with Blowfish Shoes in 2009 when I discovered they made the only pair of flats that could find their way into my heart. I used to hate pointy toes with a vengeance, and coming across rounded toe flats from Blowfish had my swooning. (Luckily for me, that hatred for pointy toes has dissipated.) At that point, their social media team got ahold of one of my photos and featured it on their Facebook page. I died that day.
Then two years later, in 2011, I was reborn and Blowfish Shoes wanted to sponsor me. I rocked my first gifted pair in this now painful blog post and I felt on top of the world, partially because of how tall those shoes were. Serious stompage around campus.
Fast forward to 2017 and this is the longest relationship I've had with any brand (or any man) and it's still run by the kindest, coolest, most badass women. So here's a big, hearty shout out to Blowfish Shoes; thank you for continuing to support this little thing I do here and for keeping my style on its toes. ;)
