My Way, Her Way, Our Way

So Sybil from Animated Confessions and Bestie from The Capricious Club have this awesome feature called "My Way, Her Way, Their Way" where they take a trend and show four different takes on it through their own personal styles and the styles of two other bloggers. This time they invited the Dynamic Duo (me and Jasmine) to participate in this feature using the trend peterpan collars! Luckily I had just ordered this dress in the mail a few days before receiving the email so I was beyond excited. (and yes, I know I look like I'm sort of doing a jig in the picture above).

Bestie paired this houndstooth dress with a peter pan collared blouse and a gorgeous brooch. I love how classy she looks with all these pieces effortlessly pulled together! My favorite part is definitely the addition of the brooch. Definitely check out her site for a close-up picture!

Meanwhile, Sybil has a detachable peter pan collar (I'm dying of jealousy over here) and looks classic chic in red white and blue. I can't get over her gorgeous, black oxfords! And don't even get me started on that chambray skirt. I think I might have to raid her closet. Jasmine chose a similar color scheme but incorporated her love for bows and polka-dots into her look! Her peter pan collar top is adorable with the slightly puffy sleeves. Also, I want that skirt of hers and if she brings it with her when she comes on Friday (for NYFW) she might never see it again. :)

Now I've gotta go get ready for class. I'm having the most unhealthy brunch consisting of spicy buffalo wings, fries, mashed potatoes, and chicken nuggets. Yay leftovers! I promise I'll be healthier when it comes to dinner (maybe).

Old Queens

My roommate and I took a short walk to Old Queens Campus near our apartments for these pictures. It's the oldest part of Rutgers New Brunswick with the most history. The buildings are absolutely gorgeous and there's always weddings going on at the chapel. I didn't get any of the buildings in the background but you can see a Rutgers bus passing by in one of the pictures below. :)

But anyway, I know I haven't updated in the longest time. Life is still crazy hectic and I'm horrible with setting my priorities straight. I haven't been crossing anything off my 20 feet long to-do list and instead I've been running around town being crazy. Classes have started already and I haven't been keeping track of what books I have to buy and what assignments I have to do. I'm a mess, I'm extremely stressed, but I'm having fun.

My crazy NYC weekend is less than a week away and on Friday I'll be picking up Jasmine from the airport while the sun is rising! I'm still in denial and I'm so beyond excited to meet so many bloggers. It'll be crazy and I'll be filling up my memory card with hundreds of pictures. I'll probably go broke from transportation (train rides and the subway) but it'll be worth it. I better go back to crossing things off my to-do list though! I'll try to update more often! I still have to announce the winner of the All That Lace Giveaway, do a Room Tour, and record a vlog!

Not Ready

Tomorrow is the first day of classes and I'm definitely not ready. I need to switch my mind over to school mode instead of summer mode. I haven't bought any of my books yet but I'll get to that eventually once I get a taste of each of my classes. Today was actually my first day legit working at the Marketing & Media office for my internship. I love it. It's so similar to what I want to be doing with my life and I can't wait to see what I get out of it. :)

My roommate took these pictures for me outside of our apartment (the building at the right of the pictures). We got quite a few honks so we didn't stay out there for too long. I'm going to go get some work done now (the workload is still constantly growing) and then head out to watch Piranhas 3D! Surprisingly it's been getting pretty decent reviews. WHOOO PIRANHAAAAS! :)
