2/15 | Stuck in the Middle
Here's Nummer Zwei (making use of my 7 years of German class)! These pictures are the first (and only - so far) taken with my new remote! It took a little getting used to but it's nice not having to run back and forth between my camera. I'm not so good at hiding the remote so I'm pretty sure you don't see my right hand in any of these photos.
(shirt dress [remixed] h&m, cardigan h&m, belt forever 21, wedges seychelles, necklace forever 21)
So recently I've decided that this shirt dress was one of the best purchases I've made in the past year besides my new camera lenses. It's ridiculously versatile and I've worn it so many different ways! I hope I can fit into it for the rest of my life. I can definitely see an 80-year-old Jen frolicking in the fields in this shirt dress (or, if not, my future granddaughter can wear it and call it vintage...and then sell it on etsy as a vintage find!) :P
yay for a remote and for ANOTHER statement necklace! i'm thinking i should send that heart locket necklace back to you since you seem to be rocking them lately! :) love this outfit and your oatmeal cardigan! that dress is incredibly versatile and i need to find myself a shirt dress before this year ends!
ReplyDeleteohh you look so pretty and the necklace is just to die for :) really2 love this look

I love picture number three (that's English, I've known it all my life). :P
ReplyDeleteThe cardigan looks cozy and whenever I put on a t-shirt dress it looks like a potato sack. Maybe I should belt them. Would that help?
You look so lovely Jen ! I heart that shirt dress so much , and yes that's such a nice purchase ! Haha . Great look !
ReplyDelete7 years of german? wow! I'm going to test your knowledge ;)
ReplyDeleteDein blaues Hemd sieht toll aus, genauso wie die Schuhe :)
:)I love your outfit, the necklace is sooooo beautiful and I love the colour palette !
ReplyDeletelove!
ReplyDeleteYour statement necklace is beautiful as is this entire ensemble! I love it! I wish I had a remote for my camera, or a stand for my camera, or a camera that could at least stand on it's own. Haha! These pictures look absolutely great!
ReplyDeleteboyfriend cardigans are my favorite! you can wear them however you want.
ReplyDeletei thought you had some really cool belt, but i looked closer and realized you just tied it differently! neat.

I love the blue shirt dress...I've been searching for a shirt dress that exactly resembles the one your wearing now. Too bad H&M store is not yet open in my country. You work it Girl…You look perfect with these outfits.:)))
ReplyDeletethis outfit is so cute. i need to invest in a shirt dress.
ReplyDeleteThis is pretty brillz. I could wear this to the office if it weren't so damn hot lately here in Detroit.
ReplyDeleteDo you know how both happy and envious I am that someone almost 10 years my junior has this much style at that age? When I was your age, I dressed like a street urchin.
This is enviable and definitely humbling, but also really, really inspiring in equal measure. Knowing that younger generations know how to compose fashion well, with ideas of proportion and style, remixing, and mixing high and low end duds is a good sign. It gives me hope that perhaps this world is not confined to waves of A&F slutty campwear-clad teens growing into slutty camp-wear clad adults.
You look wonderful.
And I agree, this was a great buy.
If you bought it recently, I can imagine myself going out to H&M and grabbing myself one. It's very versatile.
XX.
Mae Lu, thereafterish.
PS. Maybe if I'd had a style blog back when I started blogging in 2000, I probably would've had much more style to start out with. LOL!
Love those heels! The height is just right for school!
ReplyDeleteThis outfit is adorable! Hehehe, and looks exactly like what I've packed for my trip to NY this weekend. Great minds! ^_^
ReplyDeleteAgain, love this! Shirt dresses are just amazing aren't they? Those wedges are fantastic. I need to get some wedges for myself. They are like the perfect step between flats and heels. :)
ReplyDeletei love that u took these shots at ur middle school. i know what ya mean, glad those days are over lol! love this outfit, jen! i have a thing for shirt dresses, lately:) omgosh, also loving the statement necklace! have a great weekend:)

ReplyDeleteHey! Came across your blog via Mae @ Thereafterish. I have to say I'm surprised that you're 19 years old, because you've got amazing sophistication to your style. This outfit in particular is definitely something I'd wear, and I'm..let's just say I'm quite a few years older. =D
