After the Rain Has Fallen
I took these pictures yesterday when the weather was less than ideal. I don't think it's ever taken me so long to take self-portraits. The first obstacle was the weather which consisted of plenty of wind, rain, and chilly temperatures. It was also a cloudy day and the place I chose for photos (top of a parking deck) didn't provide the best lighting. Because of the cold, I didn't have the patience to properly manually focus the camera to my exact position which explains me being slightly out of focus in some of the shots. Also, to get the best possible lighting under the circumstances, my camera and tripod had to be out in the rain...so I took some newspaper and wrapped it around my camera, tying it in place with my trench coat belt (which explains why the belt isn't present in the photos). Don't even get me started on all the cars passing by and trying not to run me over. I'm just glad I got a few decent photos to post. Whew. :)
(trench dkny, sweater zara, dress asos, heart-printed tights asos, boots white mountain)
These past few days I've just been constantly exhausted. I'll get a good 8 hours of consecutive sleep, wake up, and then want to go curl back up in my sheets within 2 hours. I've been taking an average of 2-3 naps a day (I just took a 10 minute nap sitting in my chair at work). I don't have any motivation left to do my homework since it just takes too much brain power...which also makes me tired. Why am I so tired?? Then again, if I spent my days doing things that were fun, I would most likely be significantly less tired. Ugh, thanksgiving break needs to come sooner!
P.S. I have a Giveaway coming up when I reach 600 followers! :)
