Dark Green and Reckless
HARRY POTTER WAS THE BOMB. RIGHT? I'm pretty sure I cried at least twice but that's because I'm a wuss and I cry easily. I was definitely twitching as well during the first 5 minutes of the movie from anticipation. Someone in the theater was dressed up as a very convincing Mad-Eye Moody as well so that was pretty awesome. But overall, five thumbs up. My favorite part was when they were telling one of the stories from The Tales of Beedle the Bard since the animation during the story-telling was absolutely stunning and so different from the film itself.
But enough about Harry Potter since everyone's been rambling on about it non-stop (at least on Facebook). All I feel like doing today is bumming around but I've gotta go to work and then meet a friend for dinner...which means I'll have to unglue myself from this couch and take a shower. So much for my plans to loaf around the living room and watch Harry Potter movies all day.

This is actually one of my favorite outfits I've worn lately. Dark green is my favorite color to wear (besides burgundy) but I don't really have much of it in my closet since finding something I love in the perfect shade of dark green is difficult these days. I remember my senior year of high school I literally searched everywhere for the perfect dark green dress but to my disappointment there wasn't one to be found. This dress somewhat fills that void.
So, have I mentioned how reckless and clumsy I am? How I take everything I own for granted and don't really take care of anything properly? During this photo shoot I bumped my head on the railings approximately 20+ times, tripped once or twice while running back to my camera, and even almost fell over due to the heavy wind. Also, I got mud both on my knees (as shown in the above pictures), ripped my tights, and got mud on my wedges as well. Horrible thing is, I don't really care. It's like that as well with my electronics. I drop everything I own constantly and I keep on telling myself I'll take better care of my belongings. I never do though no matter how hard (or how not hard) I try. I've gotta work on that before everything I own goes down the drain, haha.
I must watch Harry Potter ASAP! Everyone and their mom's have and I still am waaaay behind the times. You look so ridiculously adorable :) I drop everything and ruin everything as well.... Maybe not as extreme as you though!

Ugh, I wish I watched Harry Potter. I'm more of a book fan, so I hold off on watching the movies until curiosity gets the better of me.
ReplyDeleteAnd I think this is my most favorite shoot/outfit from you...at least, for now! I love all the subtle patterns and textures in your outfit, but it seems to just mesh so well together. Plus, the playground brings back such great memories.
