Yesterday I decided to take a break from college and - despite being sick - took a trip into the city with Jeremy. Our first stop was the Levi's Photo Workshop where people can come from all over to rent out studio space, equipment, and printing. It was such an amazing place to be even if I didn't get to test anything out. There were quite a few hipsters with awesome style, but I also came across one of those condescending artists which was a bummer. On a more positive note, I got my photo taken (thanks to my owl hat) for the Refueled Portrait Series. Hopefully they'll publish my photo and I'll definitely share it with you guys! I was pretty damn awkward though while posing.

By the way, this owl hat is my new favorite possession. I don't care if I get strange looks and/or if it makes me look super asian.

Next we checked out the Central Asian exhibit at the MET which was awesome. I haven't been to the MET since the summer so it was pretty cool to see all the new exhibitions and check out the ones I missed last time. We ended our trip to the city with some Chicken & Rice on 53rd & 6th which was the best way we could have ended it. I swear, I've never been so satisfied in my life. :)

Well I better go study now. I'll try to keep this blog updated as much as I can with finals coming up. I might just schedule my next two posts so I can concentrate on studying. All of my friends are becoming my temporary parents and scolding me when they see me passed out on my bed instead of studying. I think I have ADD when it comes to studying.

    That hat is awesome and it brings a unique twist to your outfit! I wish there was a studio like that in LA...I'd rent out the space and have photoshoots all the time! =)

    That hat is absolutely totally adorable! It sounds like you had a wonderful trip to the city; good food, a trip to the MET, and getting your picture taken? What more could you want?

    Aww what an adorable hat! I noticed a lot of people wearing those animal hats, and you look super cute in yours! Good luck on finals, don't worry I have ADD when it comes to studying too.
