SLIDER

JennifHsieh is a space for my rambling thoughts and snaps of my everyday style. I'm based in Astoria, Queens and I share a home with my two derpy cats and my equally derpy fiancé.

You Don't Have to Be Alone

I've been trying to wear a lot of bright colors lately, starting with this dress. When I saw it on Stylemint, I automatically clicked on the black version. Typical. I decided to be a little daring for once and go for the red-orange dress. Man, how exciting is my life? I chose a different color dress. Thrilling. :P

But in all seriousness, I love this dress to death and I can't wait to wear it again. It flows in the wind and the fabric is light, which means it's perfect for the summer weather. It's supposed to be 96 degrees tomorrow so I'll be wearing as little clothing as possible without being inappropriate. It's hard to be creative or wear layers during the summer months.

Next week I'll be away from my blog since I'll be down south in New Orleans! For the first half of the week I'll be leading a volunteer group at a nearby hospital to paint a March of Dimes mural (as well as a few other service projects). The second half of the week will consist of attending the Circle K International Convention, which I've gone to for the past two years. If you guys don't already know from all my posts, it's a collegiate service organization that I'm head over heels for. I'm super excited to meet up with my friends from other states. While I'm gone, I'm leaving you guys in the hands of eight very lovely bloggers/friends. Get ready for some awesome guest posts. :)

  3. Oh I am in love with that dress! I was so tempted to wear it, but I have so many tank dresses already that I couldn't justify to get it. Now that I see on someone else, I definitely want to buy it!

  10. Those shoes are amazing! And you look lovely in bright colors, especially this shade of red. I've been trying to pry myself away from black and blue everything, because that's what practically takes over my whole closet, like a big bruise. A pretty one though. haha
Have fun during your time away! xx
