Another Thanksgiving is here and I'm so glad to be home. My mom is cooking up my favorite dish that I can smell from the dining room and Jeremy will be picking me up later this afternoon to celebrate with some of his family. I'm getting my Martha Stewart skills in check by baking my friend's incredible pumpkin squares recipe before I head out. Let's just hope they're edible by the time I'm done although I was pretty successful last year.
With so much that goes on in our lives every single day, with all the little things that are blown out of proportion, and all the big things that we let pass us by, I'm just thankful that I'm surrounded by people who I love and people that support me through thick and thin. Because in the end, that's really all I need. And yes, that includes you, because without you I wouldn't have the support and encouragement to keep doing what I'm doing on this little ol' blog.
Thank you. So much.
Now stop reading and go eat some turkey already. (Just kidding, we all know the mashed potatoes steal the show). Nom nom nom.
P.S. And thank you, Kirsten, for waking up at the crack of dawn to take my pictures at sunrise in thirty degree weather. There's no one I would rather go on adventures with than you. Besides Adrian Brody of course.
These photos are AMAZING, so worth getting up at the crack of dawn :)
ReplyDeleteEnjoy your thanksgiving! You all have me cravin' turkey again

ReplyDeleteThe pumpkin squares were a huge hit! Although the babies at Thanksgiving went crazy from the sugar. :P
DeleteAW JEN JEN~ I am thankful for you, too! Man, I've still got that tiny robot keychain and bike picture you sent me a long time ago pinned up on my cockboard. HAHAH COCKBOARD. I meant corkboard. But I'm keeping that typo. I'm pretty sure that mustache necklace fell apart that I made you. I remember that. Yeah, clay ain't the best medium for necklaces... :P
ReplyDeleteAnyway, I adore the lighting in these photos. Those boots are PRESH!
Dude. Are you seriously? Your mustache necklace is still intact and being as boss as ever. YOU ARE A SKILLED CRAFTSMAN, GIRL.
DeleteLove the dress. So pretty! xx
