Sunday was the NYC Marathon and I completely forgot they were closing the street I live on for the majority of the day. What did this mean for me? I wasn't able to cross the street to get to the subway for 50 entire blocks to Bryant Park, where I had a photo shoot, which meant I did a whole lotta walking and now my calves are in a whole lotta pain. Guess that's one way to get my exercise, right?
One advantage was being able to take pictures in the middle of a busy street, which has been on my bucket list for over two years now. Closed streets, for the win.

omg!!! i've always wanted to do the street photo thing too.. i actually do have a couple from my neighbourhood, but the ultimate goal is to do it on a busy street/city! :D
