Yours Are the Sweetest Eyes I've Ever Seen

Happy Valentine's Day! Whether you're single, taken, or just plain bitter...take the time to tell someone you love them. There's nothing like telling or showing someone just how much they may mean to you. Sometimes that's all people need to hear to brighten up their entire day. :)

Unfortunately my Valentine's Day is full of classes (Yay for Mondays) but it doesn't mean I won't enjoy it. As much as I hate the sappiness of Valentine's Day...I can't help but love it a little when I see couples walking down the street with those ridiculous smiles stuck on their faces.

 Please ignore the hole in my tights - I'm not one for taking good care of the things I own and I refuse to go out and buy another pair (aka I'm lazy). I'm off to the nearby flower shop to surprise some of my favorite people in the world. Go out and stuff yourself full of chocolates and candies!

Dynamic Duo #9

It's been way too long since Jasmine and I last collaborated on a Dynamic Duo. Since it's our one-year Dynamic Duo anniversary month (almost exactly a year ago we styled up our first item) we decided to get some new items! We each picked out an item and this Rooster printed boat neck top was Jasmine's pick. I always gravitate towards solids so it was nice having a printed top for a change (and how awesome are these roosters)!

Reading Rainbow

 

I've always wanted to take shots in a library without seeming like a creep so the other day Jeremy and I wandered into one of the university libraries. I figured bringing a tripod into a library and setting up shop for self-portraits would be beyond sketchy...especially with the loud clicks of the camera. Luckily there weren't too many people on the second floor.

I haven't really browsed a library in the longest time. I remember when I was younger I would just sit in the children's section and pull all of the books off the shelf so I could read them. Now I rarely have time to sit down and read for enjoyment...which reminds me I have some reading I need to finish up for my Religions class.

Taquitos & Ginger Ale

I'm absolutely exhausted. I passed out in all three of my classes today (not like it's anything new though) and I'm still tired. Maybe it's the fact that I'm currently engaged in a staring contest with my humongous to-do list...and it's winning. Why is time so hard to manage? It just slips right through your fingers.

I love this outfit, mainly because it was so easy to put together before heading out to class. And these boots...I honestly don't know what I would've done without them during all these snow storms. I'm going to keep this a short post - it's time to cross things off this to-do list while snacking on some taquitos and drinking ginger ale out of the bottle. Best midnight snack ever.

The Winter Blues

Jeremy took these pictures for me the other day between work and one of my classes. This is another one of those outfits (like this one) where I just wanted it to be spring. There was way too much snow outside for me to wear anything but boots (I only have this pair and my black pair). Tights were also a much needed article of clothing considering the freezing temperatures. I think the weather is also starting affect my mood and not just my outfits. Lately I've been suffering from what might be the winter blues, hence the title of this post. Actually...I'm also wearing blue. What a coincidence. :P

I'm pretty excited for this upcoming weekend. In a few hours I have to head over to another college that's about 45 minutes away for the weekend. For Circle K, we're bonding Friday night with some food and bowling and then taking care of some business. In the morning we're having a board meeting (which I may or may not fall asleep in) and then at night is a NJ Circle K event where Circle K'ers from all over NJ will be getting together! It's our annual Winter Social complete with a dinner and dance. It's always nice getting to dress up for something. And finally, after the dance, I'll be spending the night with Kirsten in her dormroom. I'm definitely going to take way too many pictures over the next few days. :)

Keeping Cozy with Modcloth

Maybe it's the icy weather outside or my lack of ability to dress appropriately for the weather, but I can't stop browsing online for winter gear. It doesn't help that Modcloth titled their most recent sale the "Cozy Up Sale". Silly hats, giant scarves, longer dresses, and lovely coats - I can't get enough. The only thing stopping me from making some purchases is the fact that I already have more than enough of everything (also, my depleting bank account).
