Flames Overhead
I've taken pictures along this pathway many times before and it's honestly one of my favorite locations. I've been waiting months and months to take pictures here during the autumn season since the trees turn into a beautiful shade of red and it's like walking underneath burning trees. Last year the leaves were only red for a week and I missed my chance to take pictures with them. This year I planned it just right - it's now or never since I'm graduating in the spring and won't be back around campus.

I'm finally home for the Thanksgiving holiday and it feels damn good to be back. My mom's cooking dinner and just smelling home cooking from the kitchen is making my stress levels go way down. I spent the afternoon catching up with my home friends at the mall and it felt like a throwback to high school. I can't believe we are all about to graduate from college and move on with the rest of our lives and head in different directions. Guess that's how life goes though, right? Just speeds up faster and faster.
But anyway, while you're in the midst of celebrating and stuffing yourself full of food, don't forget that you still have until (Black) Friday to enter my $100 Shopbop Giftcard Giveaway! Happy Thanksgiving to all that celebrate it! :)
I love autumn for the very reason, the trees so stunningly beautiful!
ReplyDeleteJen you have no idea how I'm loving the background and all these photos! Gotta visit you on the East Coast some time around Thanksgiving to see these red leaves in person! They never get this red over here. I am loving your tights too--so awesome with the line going up the back.
ReplyDeleteHappy Thanksgiving Jen! I love you and am so very thankful for you!
'Now or never' is definitely a great attitude to take towards doing things senior year– at least I'd like to think so! The photographs came out really lovely and I can see how the bright red is so true to autumn/why you want to take photographs under them. Your tights are great, love the line up the back! Have a great Thanksgiving at home with your friends/family (:
ReplyDeleteSo, so, so nice :)
