4/15: Ringing in the New Year

Happy New Year everyone! I know I'm a day late but I spent the first day of 2012 recovering from the last day of 2011. I spent New Years Eve with new and old friends and I couldn't have started off the new year in a better way. I keep wanting to make resolutions but a part of me is telling me I won't remember them in a month anyway...which is true. I probably already have resolutions for myself for the next 6 months bubbling away in my head anyway. Did you guys make any 2012 resolutions?

Anyway, I'm heading into the city for some dim sum with Jeremy. We're going to spend the day roaming around Manhattan until we meet up with some friends in the evening for a comedy show. I'm thinking of either visiting the Museum of Modern Art or the Guggenheim. Any suggestions?

  3. Such a cute and simple outfit! :]

I picked out this same H&M tank for my roommate and she loves it. It's really nice in the striped version.

  4. JEN! I'm so behind on blogs, it's ridiculous. But I have kept up with yours pretty well even if I've been a super lousy commentor ;) I LOVE YOUR NEW HAIR. I've been meaning to tell you. It's so cute on you. I also love how effortless this outfit is- and all of your outfits in general. You're a gem! I've missed you <3

  5. Hope that you had a lovely day in the city! Either museum is really good, as long as you love contemporary art (: Have a great rest of the week!

  6. Ah! I was just in NYC and went to both the MoMa and the Guggenheim! The MoMa was extremely crowded when I went, making for a frustrating trip, but the work displayed in the Guggenheim right now is amazing!! We even downloaded the iPad app (or you could buy the book, but the app is only $4) that explains a little of each work...it blew me away. Its odd, but impressive. And as always, I love the Guggenheim's architecture :)

And where are you going to see a comedy show? My absolute favorite place in NYC is the Comedy Cellar, down on McDougal street...cheap, loud and a helluva good time! Order a pitcher of Bud Light...its only $15 and it covers your 2 item min for both you and your date! And gets a nice buzz :)

And where are you doing to dim sum? I absolutely love that experience and if you have a place thats worth traveling into Manhattan for, I would love to know where it is!

Stay warm and happy new year, beautiful!!

  7. The Art gallery of Modern Art is a place that energy sources imagination, ignites brains, and provides imagination. Its modern and contemporary art selection.
