So far this week has been really good and I've been able to catch up with friends, old and new, every single night. I'm not one for being alone and I always manage to surround myself with people I love and I think that makes me pretty damn lucky. I grabbed dinner with one of my oldest and dearest friends last night since she had to be in the city anyway. Her boyfriend came along and just seeing them together put a genuine smile on my face. Just watching the way they treat each other made me incredibly happy. They're not perfect for each other, but they're right for each other...and that's so much better.

I've been in such a good mood lately and it's probably due to the fact that I have so many things to look forward to. Thanksgiving is in a week and I'll be able to spend the entire weekend with my family back in New Jersey. Can you say home cooking? Then the weekend after that I'll be celebrating my birthday with some of my favorite people in the world. I love that my birthday always comes a week after Thanksgiving since everyone is usually well-rested after the holiday and free to get together.

December is looking to be filled with even more celebrations with my third roommate's 23rd birthday and all of the holiday craziness. My roommates and I are dying to throw an early ugly sweater holiday party before everybody goes home for the holidays. And at the end of December? I'll be reunited with Jeremy in Istanbul to celebrate New Year's. It's been over two months apart now and I think I can definitely handle another month and a half. So incredibly excited. What do you guys have planned for the holidays?
