California Road Trip | Day 6/10: Oh Hi, Ojai

After driving through the Carrizo Plain and losing my sanity, Jeremy and I casually rolled into the quaint, little town of Ojai to grab dinner and spend the night. We thought we were so incredibly clever by repeating "Oh Hi, Ojai" every five seconds, but then we found it on a t-shirt and of course someone's already thought of it. This was one of our more laid back moments on our trip and we just walked around downtown and basked in the glorious sunlit streets.

Once we had filled our bellies to the brim, we settled in for the night into the most relaxing airbnb, the Elegant Wabi Sabi House. My favorite part of the little house was the separate outdoor bathroom which came with its own personal heater and a claw-foot tub that must have been award-winning (well, award-winning enough for me to have a full-on photo shoot with it). Jeremy was a little wary of the spiders who made homes in the bathroom corners, but for me it felt like I was even more connected with nature, which was just a thin wooden panel away.  Would definitely recommend; 10/10.
