This time of year I'm usually hunkered down covered in scarves, beanies, and heavy jackets; but, low and behold, November is throwing us a bone and staying in the mid-60's over here. I used to associate September with changing leaves. It was all about that brand spankin' new fall jacket you were going to rock on the first day of school. Now people are still headed to the beach in September and my coats are still hanging in the hall closet.

Jeremy and I have decided to cash in on this incredible, #blessed weather and we're going to head upstate to Dobb's Ferry tomorrow for our sort-of-annual bike-riding extravaganza (which is less like an extravaganza and more like me remembering how unfit I am as I struggle to get my bike up any hill). At least I'm slowly starting to go to the gym again like I promised myself I would - very slowly but still, I'm there. I swear.
