I went to the gym yesterday morning before work and I forgot to wear deodorant. It wasn't the biggest deal in the world and if anyone asked me to lift up my arms a few plants wouldn't have died, but they would have definitely given me side eye. Which always brings me back to my high school homecoming date telling people I smelled after the dance. But dude, I was going through puberty and hadn't yet discovered the beauty of deodorant...and we were in a enclosed gym with a million other 15-year-olds. That's gross in itself.
But enough about what goes on in the pits of my arms. The most important part of this story is the fact that I WENT TO THE GYM BEFORE WORK. IN THE MORNING. This is exciting news, you have no idea. For weeks now, Jeremy has been going to the gym in the mornings and I would just lazily wave goodbye while still burrito'd up in my sheets. I used the excuse that it was just too cold outside and "who the f- wears a coat to the gym?!" But once I pulled this quilted (aka cozy to the MAX) sweatshirt out of the box, I sighed because it got rid of my only excuse this season. Off to the gym I go.
So while I'm #PerfectNever when it comes to wearing deodorant (be thankful these photos aren't scratch and sniff), Reebok still has my back, mainly by kicking my excuses in the butt and getting me out my front door.
Also, can we talk about how exhausting it is to take outfit photos right after the gym? True emotions shown in the first and last photos. Everything in between was a workout in itself.
