A Certain Shade of Green
Can you guys believe it's July already? Didn't summer literally just kick in? Now it's one third of the way over and I know it'll fly by right before my eyes. I need to start focusing on my summer bucket list (that I have yet to make) and begin to check things off. What are you guys itching to do over the next two months? The travel bug has bitten me and I'm craving a trip just about anywhere. Not to mention that Jeremy is finally coming home this week and I haven't seen him since I flew over to Turkey in January. So excited.

I've probably mentioned this about a million times, but dark green is my favorite color to wear. Ever. A quick google search actually reveals that I mention it here, here, and here. There's probably a hundred more blog posts talking about the color green - obviously, I just can't get over my obsession. Luckily for me, the lovely and adorable Elana from Room 334 listed this dress up for swap and I couldn't resist. Check out how some of the other Flock Together ladies styled it up (Elana, Hannah, Ashley, Katie, Marisa, and Erica)!
how adorable is that hat!! and green is such a lush color!! :D love the scalloped hem! :D
ReplyDeleteThe detailing on that dress is way too pretty.

ReplyDeleteAnd dark green is such a pretty color on you! This is such a shimmery shade of emerald, wow wow wow~ you look stunning, Jen! The scalloped edges are my favorite.
ReplyDeleteHmmm, for the next two months I plan on forcing myself to draw LOTS and try new art things and read tons and hopefully blog more pretty pictures, too. :D
I'm personally not a big fan of green, but your dress is gorgeous and that shade suits you really well - I'm tempted to buy green clothing now! (:

LOVE how you styled it, those madewell heels really have me swooning over here! Did you plan to stand by the dark green building poles too or was that just happenstance?
ReplyDeleteHave a wonderful day!
